On the house

Two tools we built for us. Yours now, free.

One keeps a one-person studio from losing the plot. The other tracks your food, your lifts and your grocery bill, then tells you the truth about the session in language most apps would not risk. We use both every day, so you may as well have them.

  • Free, and no adsno charges, no ads, nothing to buy
  • No app storeinstalls from the browser in two taps
  • Private by designnobody here can see your projects or your plate

Helm

Run the whole show without losing the plot.

Projects, plans, ideas and momentum in one calm command centre on your home screen.

Running a studio is mostly remembering things. Which project is on fire, which one is quietly stuck, what you promised a client three weeks ago, and the one idea from the shower that you swore you would not forget and then forgot.

Every tool we tried was either a to-do list too dumb to hold all of that, or a project suite so heavy it needed its own project manager. So we built the middle: one screen that tells you what is actually going on, and what to do next.

How we use it

We run Paradoqx itself on Helm. Every client project, every deadline, every half-formed idea lives here, and the morning check is a thirty-second glance instead of opening six tabs.

Blunt

The fitness app that calls you out.

No cheerleading. No participation trophies. It grades the session and says what it thinks.

This one started as a spreadsheet, like these things always do. Log the food, log the workout, log what the groceries cost, and try to figure out why the protein target and the budget kept fighting each other.

Then it grew a mouth. Every other app tells you that you did great; this one compares the session to your last comparable one and tells you the truth about it. Sometimes the truth is that you quit early and wrote it down.

How we use it

Built for one lifter here who needed to be spoken to like this, and then opened up for anyone else who does. Private account, installs to your phone, your data yours to export or delete, and pointed at our own dinner first.

“3 days. Nobody noticed. That’s the part that should bother you.”

Three tones. One switch.

“Down 17%. You got worse.”

Where the line is

Brutal about your effort. Never about you.

  • It attacks the effort: your excuses, your consistency, your talking versus your doing.
  • Never your body or your identity. No comments on how you look. No gendered garbage. No slurs.
  • It will never tell you to skip meals, starve, train injured or stop resting.
  • One switch turns it off: Settings, Coaching, Neutral. No lecture for switching.
What it does for you
  • The verdictEvery session graded against your last comparable one: volume delta, a score, PRs caught automatically, and a streak you will not want to break.
  • Gym log that thinksTemplates prefilled from last time, sets as reps times weight, a rest timer that buzzes you back to the bar, and lb entry for mixed gyms.
  • Progress per muscleVolume rolled up by muscle group, 30 days against the 30 before, worst group first. A rising bench means nothing if the chest stalls.
  • Food that knows your goalType-ahead search and macros that calculate themselves. Cutting and over? It notices. Bulking and nibbling? It notices that too.
  • Grocery brainA price book that knows what 300g of chicken costs you, spend reports by day, week and month, and a cheapest-protein ranking per rupee.
  • It follows you outOpt-in push at your gym time, when you go missing for days, and the moment a session is graded. Off by default. On if you dare.

So why give them away?

Neither of these was ever meant to be a product. They are the tools our own team needed, built for internal use, and once they actually worked there was no good reason to keep them locked to a handful of people. So anyone can open them and use them.

Hosting is the only real cost, and for now it is small enough that we do not mind carrying it for everyone. If the number of users ever runs far past what we expect and that bill turns into a serious expense, we will have to think again, and you will hear it from us here before anything changes.

Honestly, if one of these helps someone become a better version of themselves, that is worth more to us than the hosting bill.
